Before submitting your manuscript, please ensure that:<\/p>\n
\n- The manuscript falls within the Aims and Scope<\/strong> of JCIL.<\/li>\n
- The manuscript is original, has not been published previously, and is not under consideration by another journal.<\/li>\n
- The manuscript has been prepared according to the JCIL Author Guidelines<\/strong> and the official Article Template<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
- All required declarations (Conflict of Interest, AI Declaration, Funding, Data Availability, Ethics Approval, and Author Contributions, where applicable) have been completed.<\/li>\n
- The manuscript complies with the journal’s formatting and referencing requirements.<\/li>\n
- The manuscript is ready for double-blind peer review<\/strong>, with all author-identifying information removed from the main manuscript.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
Failure to comply with these requirements may result in the manuscript being returned for technical revision before editorial consideration.<\/p>\n

Authors are required to submit manuscripts through the JCIL Online Submission System<\/strong>.<\/p>\nBefore making a submission, authors must:<\/p>\n
\n- Register for an author account (or log in if already registered).<\/li>\n
- Complete all required metadata, including author information, affiliations, ORCID (if available), title, abstract, and keywords.<\/li>\n
- Upload the manuscript and any supplementary files.<\/li>\n
- Confirm compliance with the Submission Checklist.<\/li>\n
- Complete the submission and retain the confirmation email for future reference.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
Authors may monitor the progress of their submissions at any time by logging into their OJS account.<\/p>\n

JCIL operates a double-blind peer review<\/strong> system.<\/p>\nTo preserve reviewer anonymity, authors must not include<\/strong> any identifying information within the manuscript, including:<\/p>\n\n- author names;<\/li>\n
- institutional affiliations;<\/li>\n
- acknowledgements;<\/li>\n
- funding information that identifies the authors;<\/li>\n
- ORCID identifiers;<\/li>\n
- self-identifying citations or statements where possible;<\/li>\n
- document properties or file metadata that reveal author identity.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
Author information should only be entered in the submission metadata within the online submission system.<\/p>\n

Upon submission, every manuscript undergoes an initial editorial assessment to determine whether it:<\/p>\n
\n- falls within the journal’s scope;<\/li>\n
- complies with the Author Guidelines;<\/li>\n
- satisfies formatting requirements;<\/li>\n
- meets the journal’s ethical standards;<\/li>\n
- passes the similarity screening; and<\/li>\n
- is suitable for external peer review.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
Manuscripts that do not satisfy these requirements may be returned to the authors for correction or rejected without external review.<\/p>\n

Before submitting your manuscript, please confirm that:<\/p>\n
\n- The manuscript is original and has not been submitted elsewhere.<\/li>\n
- The manuscript has been prepared using the latest JCIL Article Template.<\/li>\n
- The manuscript follows the JCIL Author Guidelines.<\/li>\n
- The manuscript is anonymised for double-blind peer review.<\/li>\n
- The overall similarity index is less than 20%<\/strong>, excluding references, quotations, and bibliographic material.<\/li>\n
- A Conflict of Interest Declaration<\/strong> has been included.<\/li>\n
- An Artificial Intelligence (AI) Declaration<\/strong> has been included.<\/li>\n
- All references follow the APA 7th Edition<\/strong> referencing style.<\/li>\n
- The reference list is prepared in Times New Roman (Roman), 10-point font<\/strong>, with a hanging indent.<\/li>\n
- All required declarations and supporting information have been completed.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

After a successful submission, authors will receive an acknowledgement email.<\/p>\n

- Editorial Decision<\/li>\n
- Author Revision (if required)<\/li>\n
- Final Acceptance<\/li>\n
- Copyediting and Typesetting<\/li>\n
- Proofreading<\/li>\n
- Publication<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
Authors may track the status of their manuscripts through the online submission system throughout the review process.<\/p>\n
