global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221; theme_builder_area=&#8221;post_content&#8221; sticky_enabled=&#8221;0&#8243;]<\/p>\n<p>Fenomena <em>childfree<\/em>, iaitu keputusan sukarela pasangan berkahwin untuk tidak memiliki anak, semakin mendapat perhatian dalam masyarakat moden termasuk umat Islam di Malaysia. Pilihan ini sering dikaitkan dengan kebebasan individu, tekanan kewangan, keutamaan kerjaya dan kesetaraan gender. Kajian ini meneliti implikasi fenomena <em>childfree<\/em> terhadap keseimbangan generasi serta kesinambungan keturunan dalam masyarakat Islam, di samping menilai isu ini dari perspektif hukum syariah. Metodologi yang digunakan ialah pendekatan kualitatif berbentuk kajian kepustakaan, melalui analisis terhadap al-Quran, hadis, pandangan fuqaha kontemporari dan literatur akademik, serta disokong temu bual separa struktur bagi mendapatkan pandangan lebih mendalam. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis secara deskriptif dan dihimpunkan mengikut tema-tema tertentu bagi memahami isu secara lebih menyeluruh. Dapatan menunjukkan bahawa amalan <em>childfree<\/em> memberi kesan negatif kepada struktur demografi, khususnya penurunan kadar kelahiran, penguncupan tenaga kerja muda, dan peningkatan beban terhadap sistem sosial. Hal ini sekali gus menimbulkan cabaran kepada pertumbuhan ekonomi serta perancangan pembangunan negara jangka panjang. Dari perspektif syariah, walaupun Islam tidak secara mutlak mengharamkan pilihan ini, keputusan untuk menolak zuriat tanpa sebab syarie dianggap bercanggah dengan <em>maq\u0101\u1e63id shar\u2019iyyah<\/em>, terutama aspek penjagaan keturunan <em>(\u1e25if\u1e93 al-na\u1e63l<\/em>). Kajian ini mencadangkan agar fenomena <em>childfree<\/em> diteliti secara kritikal dalam kerangka nilai Islam, kerana ia juga bertentangan dengan Agenda 2030 Pembangunan Mampan, khususnya SDG 3 dan SDG 5 yang turut diguna pakai Malaysia.<\/p>\n<p>KATA KUNCI<br \/>Childfree, implikasi, keseimbangan generasi, maq\u0101\u1e63id shar\u2019iyyah, hif\u1e93 al-na\u1e63l.<\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_tab][et_pb_tab title=&#8221;Abstract&#8221; _builder_version=&#8221;4.24.3&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; body_text_align=&#8221;justify&#8221; hover_enabled=&#8221;0&#8243; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221; theme_builder_area=&#8221;post_content&#8221; sticky_enabled=&#8221;0&#8243;]<\/p>\n<p>The childfree phenomenon, defined as the voluntary decision of married couples not to have children, is gaining attention in modern society, including among Muslims in Malaysia. This choice is often linked to individual freedom, financial pressures, career priorities, and gender equality. This study explores its implications on generational balance and lineage continuity in Muslim communities, while assessing the issue from an Islamic legal perspective. Using a qualitative approach through library research, the study analyzes the Qur\u2019an, hadith, contemporary scholars, and academic works, supported by semi-structured interviews for deeper insights. Findings indicate that childfree practices negatively affect demographic structures, notably declining birth rates, reduced young labor forces, and heavier burdens on social systems. These trends pose challenges to economic growth and long-term national development. From a Shariah standpoint, while Islam does not categorically prohibit the practice, rejecting procreation without valid shar\u2018\u012b reasons contradicts the objectives of Shariah (maq\u0101\u1e63id shar\u012b\u2018ah), especially the preservation of lineage (\u1e25if\u1e93 al-na\u1e63l).
