Fenomena perkongsian berlebihan mengenai kanak-kanak dikenali sebagai sharenting. Perkara ini dapat diperhatikan melalui kumpulan Facebook \u201cAnak Sepahkan Apa Hari Ini\u201d yang disertai oleh ibu bapa Muslim untuk berkongsi mengenai anak-anak. Ibu bapa bebas untuk berkongsi perbuatan yang dilakukan oleh anak mereka di media sosial. Amalan ini menunjukkan ibu bapa berkongsi maklumat tentang anak-anak tanpa memikirkan implikasi terhadap hak dan privasi anak mereka. Walau bagaimanapun, perkara ini belum dikaji secara ilmiah untuk mengetahui sejauhmana ibu bapa mengetahui dan sedar akan kesan perbuatan tersebut. Justeru, kajian ini dijalankan bagi menilai tahap pengetahuan ibu bapa terhadap kesan sharenting terhadap kanak-kanak. Kajian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan pengumpulan data melalui analisis dokumen dan soal selidik yang diedarkan secara atas talian menggunakan Google Form kepada 60 responden di sekitar Lembah Klang, Malaysia. Data dianalisis menggunakan SPSS versi 30.0 dan dipersembahkan secara deskriptif. Hasil kajian mendapati bahawa tahap pengetahuan ibu bapa terhadap kesan negatif sharenting mencapai min keseluruhan 4.59 iaitu pada tahap tinggi. Ini menunjukkan ibu bapa tahu dan sedar bahawa sharenting memberi kesan negatif kepada kanak-kanak meskipun trend ini terus meningkat di media sosial. Sehubungan itu, pemantauan daripada pihak berkepentingan seperti Suruhanjaya Komunikasi dan Multimedia Malaysia (SKMM) dan Pejabat Pesuruhjaya Kanak-Kanak, SUHAKAM amat diperlukan khususnya melalui kempen kesedaran dan penyebaran infografik bagi mengelakkan implikasi negatif seperti gangguan privasi, buli siber dan masalah psikologi terhadap kanak-kanak<\/p>\n<p>KATA KUNCI<br \/>kesan trend sharenting, kanak-kanak, pengetahuan ibu bapa, media sosial, Lembah Klang.<\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_tab][et_pb_tab title=&#8221;Abstract&#8221; _builder_version=&#8221;4.24.3&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; body_text_align=&#8221;justify&#8221; hover_enabled=&#8221;0&#8243; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221; theme_builder_area=&#8221;post_content&#8221; sticky_enabled=&#8221;0&#8243;]<\/p>\n<p>The development of modern technology has enabled society to share aspects of daily life on social media, particularly regarding children. The phenomenon of excessive sharing about children is known as sharenting. This can be observed for example, in the Facebook group \u201cAnak Sepahkan Apa Hari Ini\u201d which was joined by Muslim parents to share about their children. Parents are able to post about their kids&#8217; behavior on social media. This behavior demonstrates how parents disclose information about their kids without thinking about how it can affect their rights and privacy. However, this issue has not been thoroughly examined to determine the extent to which parents are aware of its consequences. Therefore, this study was conducted to assess parents\u2019 level of knowledge on the impact of sharenting towards children. The study employed a quantitative approach with data collected through document analysis and online questionnaires distributed via Google Forms to 60 respondents in the Klang Valley, Malaysia. Data were analyzed using SPSS version 30.0 and presented descriptively. The findings revealed that parents\u2019 level of knowledge on the negative impact of sharenting achieved an overall mean score of 4.59 which falls within the high category. This demonstrates that parents know and aware that sharenting affects children\u2019s rights, even though the trend continues to grow on social media.
