In this approach, inputs from stakeholders are taken into account when reviewing the curriculum. As a result, there are courses in which their teaching approach have been changed the methods such as coorperative learning, student-centred learning and problem based learning. This new curriculum was implimented beginning from the 2005\/2006 academic session.<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">PROGRAMME EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES (PEO)<br \/>\n<\/span><\/strong>In this curriculum, based on inputs collected from the stakeholders, the faculty has developed the following Programme Educational Objectives in order to be achieved by the graduates several years after graduation:<\/p>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>PEO1 \u2013<\/strong>\u00a0Engineer \/ Architect who has\u00a0<strong>character and ethics<\/strong>, as well as\u00a0<strong>high professionalism<\/strong>\u00a0and contributes to the\u00a0<strong>National Aspirations<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li><strong>PEO2 \u2013<\/strong>\u00a0Engineer \/ Architect who is\u00a0<strong>competent<\/strong>\u00a0in respective engineering practices that meets current and future needs.<\/li>\n<li><strong>PEO3 \u2013<\/strong>\u00a0Engineer \/ Architect who has a<strong>\u00a0creative and innovative, entrepreneurial<\/strong>\u00a0and leadership qualities that are glocal.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">PROGRAMME OUTCOMES (PO)<br \/>\n<\/span><\/strong>In the Outcome Based Education curriculum, a student needs to possess featured listed as the Programme Outcomes just after his\/her graduation and these outcomes have to be assessed through designated measurement methods. Therefore, the Faculty has developed the following Programme Outcomes to be achieved by all students:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>PO1 \u2013\u00a0<\/strong><strong>Engineering Knowledge\u00a0<\/strong>\u2013 Apply knowledge of mathematics, science, engineering fundamentals and an engineering specialisation to the solution of complex engineering problems.<\/li>\n<li><strong>PO2 \u2013<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>Problem Analysis\u00a0<\/strong>\u2013 Identify, formulate, research literature and analyse complex engineering problems reaching substantiated conclusions using first principles of mathematics, natural sciences and engineering sciences.<\/li>\n<li><strong>PO3 \u2013\u00a0<\/strong><strong>Design\/Development of Solutions\u00a0<\/strong>\u2013 Design solutions for complex engineering problems and design systems, components or processes that meet specified needs with appropriate consideration for public health and safety, cultural, societal, and environmental considerations.<\/li>\n<li><strong>PO4 \u2013\u00a0<\/strong><strong>Investigation\u00a0<\/strong>\u2013 Conduct investigation into complex problems using research based knowledge and research methods including design of experiments, analysis and interpretation of data, and synthesis of information to provide valid conclusions.<\/li>\n<li><strong>PO5 \u2013<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>Modern Tool Usage\u00a0<\/strong>\u2013 Create, select and apply appropriate techniques, resources, and modern engineering and IT tools, including prediction and modelling, to complex engineering problems with an understanding of the limitations.<\/li>\n<li><strong>PO6<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013\u00a0<strong>The Engineer and Society\u00a0<\/strong>\u2013 Apply reasoning informed by contextual knowledge to assess societal, health, safety, legal and cultural issues and the consequent responsibilities relevant to professional engineering practice and solutions to complex engineering problems.<\/li>\n<li><strong>PO7<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013\u00a0<strong>Environment and Sustainability\u00a0<\/strong>\u2013 Understand and evaluate the sustainability and the impact of professional engineering work in the solution of\u00a0<u>complex engineering problems<\/u>\u00a0in societal and environmental contexts.<\/li>\n<li><strong>PO8\u00a0<\/strong>\u2013\u00a0<strong>Ethics\u00a0<\/strong>\u2013 Apply ethical principles and commit to professional ethics &amp; responsibilities and norms of engineering practice and contribute to the National Aspirations.<\/li>\n<li><strong>PO9<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013\u00a0<strong>Communication\u00a0<\/strong>\u2013 Communicate effectively on complex engineering activities with the engineering community and with society at large, such as being able to comprehend and write effective reports and design documentation, make effective presentations, and give and receive clear instructions.<\/li>\n<li><strong>PO10 \u2013\u00a0<\/strong><strong>Individual and Team Work \u2013\u00a0<\/strong>Function effectively as an individual, and as a member or leader in diverse teams and in multi-disciplinary settings.<\/li>\n<li><strong>PO11<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013\u00a0<strong>Life Long Learning \u2013\u00a0<\/strong>Recognise the need for, and have the preparation and ability to engage in independent and life-long learning in the broadest context of technological change.<\/li>\n<li><strong>PO12 \u2013<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>Project Management and
