I am so grateful and proud for doing my PhD in dental materials at UKM University. PhD journey is often difficult; however, my great supervisors and colleagues relieved such difficulty. The unique educational environment at UKM has also played an important role. All of these factors made me feel more comfortable, more involved, more motivated, and have a higher overall learning ability. As a result, I had received numerous opportunities, such as representing UKM as a graduate ambassador. As conference chairman, I led the team of the 1st IRCESH2016 International Research Conference organized by the UKM Graduate Ambassadors in collaboration with the UKM Graduate Centre. In addition, I have won several academic awards, the most important, perhaps, obtaining the first place and the audience choice in the 3MT INCIF 2017 contest. Furthermore, I have published many scientific articles in high-impact journals, and participated in several international conferences. There is no doubt that, the UKM University provides an excellent platform for enhancing academic skills and obtaining a great learning experience.
