What Our Students Say
About their experiences
The PhD program at Faculty of Engineering and Built Environment (FKAB) Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia offered solid and life-altering training to students. Faculty members are well-known experts in their own field and most importantly, they are always available whenever students need advice. I was able to co-author with them and started to build up my research pipeline in early stage. After graduation, with its rapid expansion, the reputation of Department of Architecture and Built Environment (JSAB) of FKAB continues to intangibly benefits my academic career. Thanks to my supervisor who gave me a lot of advice throughout my studies. I sincerely appreciate the education from FKAB UKM
Doctoral programs at Faculty of Engineering and Built Environment (FKAB) Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia provide a diverse, inclusive, and research-intensive learning environment. The wonderful faculty and advisors train students on state-of-the-art quantitative techniques so that the students can conduct impactful research and build their academic career. Based on my experience, students are put on a success trajectory from day one—faculty and peers make themselves available to support them throughout the journey. Thanks to my supervisor who gave me a lot of guidance throughout my studies. I am very thankful for everything that I’ve learned at FKAB UKM.

I am a proud alumnus of UKM since I graduated in 2011.
