Earth Day was first celebrated in 1970 with the aim of expressing global support for environmental protection at the international level. Today, April 22 has been officially designated as Earth Day and is celebrated annually in over 193 countries around the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


This year\u2019s Earth Day theme, \u201cOur Power, Our Planet\u201d<\/em> carries an important message that the power and responsibility to care for the Earth lie in our hands. It calls on all levels of society to rise and play their respective roles in efforts to protect the environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


Every individual, regardless of background, has a significant role in shaping a more sustainable future for our planet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
