Over 4,000 new students of Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) for the 2025\/2026 session, together with the university\u2019s top management led by the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Sufian Jusoh, walked around the UKM Bangi campus this morning in support of the “Madani Steps Expression” program held in conjunction with the 2025\/2026 Minggu Apresiasi Watan (MAW) (National Appreciation Week).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The walk began at Dewan Gemilang<\/em>, joined by students from Kolej Keris Mas<\/em> and Kolej Ibu Zain<\/em>, and proceeded to Checkpoint 1 to meet students from Kolej Rahim Kajai<\/em>. The walk continued to Checkpoint 2, where they met students from Kolej Dato\u2019 Onn<\/em> and Kolej Tun Hussein Onn<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All UKM top management and students from the five residential colleges then continued walking to Checkpoint 3 to meet students from Kolej Aminuddin Baki<\/em>, before heading to Checkpoint 4 to meet students from Kolej Pendeta Za\u2019ba<\/em>, Kolej Rahim Ibrahim Yaakub<\/em>, Kolej Burhanuddin Helmi<\/em>, and Kolej Ungku Omar<\/em>. The participants then continued their journey to Dewan Canselor Tun Abdul Razak (DECTAR)<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The “Madani Steps Expression” brisk walk, covering a distance of more than three kilometres, was held to promote a healthy lifestyle among new students while also appreciating the beauty and greenery of the UKM campus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
