kNovasi 2025

kNovasi is an abbreviation for the Congress and Competition for Innovation in Teaching and Learning. It is an annual event organized by the Centre for Teaching and Curriculum Development (Pengajaran-UKM) of Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) since 2009. kNovasi is a platform that brings together researchers and innovators from higher education institutions, schools and industry to showcase and share the latest innovations in teaching, learning, assessment and curriculum development. This Congress and Competition for Innovation not only celebrates creativity and inventiveness in the world of education, but also serves as a medium to build professional networks, improve pedagogical practices, and foster sustainability in education. All papers from kNovasi have been published in the Asean Journal of Teaching and Learning in Higher Education (AJTLHE) and also in books published by Penerbit UKM. Meanwhile, the PdP products and innovations that have been competed for are widely disseminated through the Pengajaran-UKM YouTube channel.

Revolutionizing Learning To Foster a Sustainable Future

The Teaching and Learning (T&L) Innovation Competition is a competition for academics and students of higher education institutions to showcase innovative and competitive higher education ideas/products/innovations. This includes learning analytics, virtual/augmented reality, e-learning pedagogy/approaches, multimedia tools, computer applications, mobile applications and systems as well as other related fields. The T&L Innovation Competition is open to all academics and industry members who are interested in creating solutions and making improvements in T&L. Participants will compete for T&L innovations and products resulting from exploring new ideas in future teaching and learning. Meanwhile, the innovation competition for the school student category called the Young Digital Innovator Competition uncovers the talents of young digital innovators aged 18 and below in producing a short film using AI technology. The Paper Presentation Competition is a competition for academics and students of higher education institutions to present innovative and competitive higher education ideas/products/innovations. This includes learning analytics, virtual/augmented reality, e-learning pedagogy/approaches, multimedia tools, computer applications, mobile applications and systems as well as other related fields. Authors of accepted long abstracts are invited and encouraged to submit full papers for publication in the ASEAN Journal of Teaching & Learning in Higher Education (AJTLHE), indexed by Mycite, or Chapters in UKM Publishers' Books.
