The World Mental Health Day Celebration 2025 is an annual event organized to promote awareness, understanding, and advocacy for mental health and well-being within the campus and the wider community. This year’s celebration, themed “Access to Services: Mental Health in Catastrophes and Emergencies,”. This theme focuses on ensuring mental health and psychosocial support is a core part of emergency response for those affected by conflict, disaster, and displacement. It emphasizes the critical need for mental healthcare during large-scale emergencies.
The programme will feature a variety of engaging activities including keynote addresses by mental health professionals, interactive forums, exhibitions, and performances that promote emotional expression and resilience. Workshops and sharing sessions were conducted to equip participants with practical strategies for managing stress, supporting others, and fostering positive mental health in daily life.
