This workshop aims to provide participants with exposure to the use of ketamine in the treatment of depression. It covers theoretical aspects, clinical applications, and the latest developments relevant to psychiatric practice.
Objective:
To provide participants with an understanding of the role of ketamine in the treatment of depression, including its mechanism of action and therapeutic indications.
To expose participants to current clinical practices and guidelines in the use of ketamine within psychiatric treatment.
To enhance participants’ knowledge of patient selection, safety considerations, and monitoring when administering ketamine therapy.
To discuss recent developments and research findings related to ketamine use in psychiatry to improve clinical practice.
