Intensive Introductory Course to Family Medicine
The “Intensive Introductory Course to Family Medicine” is a specialized training programme designed to provide participants with foundational knowledge and practical skills in family medicine including the scope of work and responsibilities of a Clinical Specialist in Family Medicine.
This course also aims to introduce the curriculum, teaching and learning methods, through knowledge-sharing by experienced specialists on the latest developments in primary healthcare services, as well as the challenges and opportunities in the roles of Family Medicine Specialists.
Objective:
- Gain information about the scope of the Family Medicine specialty, including the roles and responsibilities of a Family Medicine Specialist.
- Understand the 4-year curriculum and the teaching and learning methods.
- Become familiar with postgraduate rules and guidelines at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia.
