The Faculty of Medicine, UKM, organized the annual Iftar Ramadhan Programme to provide daily iftar meals for students residing at Kolej Tun Dr. Ismail. The initiative, supported by alumni contributions, PERSIAP, and the college administration, aimed to reduce food insecurity and support students’ well-being during Ramadhan.
Approximately 300 students benefited from the programme, which strengthened collaboration among alumni, faculty, administration, and students while fostering a culture of social responsibility.
Objective:
To provide consistent and nutritious meals for students during Ramadhan.
To alleviate food insecurity among selected students, particularly those from financially constrained backgrounds.
To foster collaboration among alumni, faculty, college administration, and student organizations.
