Laparoscopic cholecystectomy is the standard method for the treatment of gallstone disease. This procedure replaces open surgery and offers advantages such as less postoperative pain, a shorter recovery period, and lower complication rates.

This workshop was organized to provide participants with theoretical exposure, practical training, and safety tips to enable them to perform laparoscopic cholecystectomy in a systematic manner.
