Medicolegal Workshop For Healthcare Provider
Medicolegal Workshop for Healthcare Provider workshop organized by Department of Medical Education, Faculty of Medicine on 14 June 2025 at Pre-Clinical Block, Faculty of Medicine.
The workshop was organized to enhance the understanding of healthcare providers regarding legal aspects related to clinical practice. This program provides exposure to medicolegal issues such as professional responsibilities, medical documentation, patient consent (informed consent), and risk management in patient care. The workshop also serves as a platform for knowledge and experience sharing from experts in the medical and legal fields.
Objective:
- To expose healthcare providers on legal aspects in medical practice.
- To increase understanding of the importance of accurate and complete medical documentation.
- To strengthen awareness of professional responsibility and ethics in patient care.
- To help participants understand risk management strategies to reduce litigation issues in healthcare services.
