UKM NURSCare: Memperkasa Interaksi dan Kesedaran Kesihatan Komuniti

UKM NURSCare Program organized by Department of Nursing, Faculty of Medicine UKM is a platform for interaction between UKM nurses and the community. This program emphasizes an interactive health education approach focused on community needs in line with the concept of community health empowerment. The implementation of this program can enhance public health literacy, encourage community involvement in self-health care, and strengthen the image and role of the UKM nursing profession as a strategic partner in community health.

In addition, the involvement of nursing students in this program provides early exposure to applying theoretical learning principles to the real world. This can be evaluated through interactions with the community to understand the uniqueness of each individual, human behavior, and their perceptions of health and illness. At the same time, it can enhance soft skills that focus on strengthening communication skills, social interaction, teamwork, and leadership among students

Objective:
To empower two-way interaction between UKM nurses and the community and to enhance health awareness through an interactive, holistic, and community-based health education approach.
