RESEARCH WORKSHORP/ COURSE/ SEMINAR
We organize research workshops, seminars, and training courses that promote academic excellence and practical competence. These programs provide participants with opportunities to gain hands-on experience, share insights, and build valuable research networks.
Theory and Application of High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) Course
The HPLC course aims to provide researchers and students with theoretical knowledge and practical skills in operating HPLC instruments. Conducted in a two-day hybrid format, it focuses on understanding HPLC principles, hands-on operation, and data analysis for research applications.
Fundamentals and Interpretation of LIquid Chromatography- Mass Chromatography (LCMS) Course
The LC-MS method offers high specificity and sensitivity, enabling simultaneous identification of multiple compounds efficiently. This course introduces participants to LC-MS principles, sample preparation, data interpretation using MZMine, and troubleshooting. It aims to enhance participants’ understanding and technical skills in applying LC-MS for high-impact scientific research and advanced analytical studies.
Evaporating and Freeze Drying Training
Freeze dry technology uses low temperatures instead of heat, unlike conventional drying methods. It helps extend product shelf life up to 1–2 years with proper drying and storage.
During one day training, participants was exposed to the theory of freeze-drying, gain practical insights and experience hands-on operation of the freeze dryer using food samples.
Trained Panelist Sensory Evaluation Course
Sensory analysis is a key method for evaluating food quality based on taste, texture, aroma, and appearance. This course, designed for trained panelists, aims to enhance skills in systematic sensory evaluation through theory and hands-on training using Triangle Test and QDA, focusing on data interpretation, panel selection, and sensory terminology development.
Chocolate Training Course
The two-day Chocolate Training Course aims to enhance participants’ knowledge and skills in chocolate processing and production. It provides comprehensive exposure to post-harvest treatment, tempering, and moulding techniques while offering hands-on experience to ensure proper application of chocolate processing methods for quality and innovative product development.
Viva Flow Demonstration
The Viva Flow Demonstration Course aims to enhance participants’ understanding of membrane filtration technology for efficient sample concentration and purification. This course provides both theoretical and practical exposure to the Viva Flow system, focusing on its principles, applications, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting to improve analytical efficiency and research performance.
