offering <i>Helicobacter pylori<\/i> culture and susceptibility testing services on gastric biopsy specimens of patients from Hospital Canselor Tuanku Muhriz and outside hospitals\/laboratories. Susceptibility testing (through measuring the &#8216;minimum inhibitory concentration&#8217;) will be performed on the antibiotics- metronidazole, clarithromycin, amoxicillin, levofloxacin, tetracycline and rifampicin.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>Operation Hours<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The service operates Monday to Friday from 8.00am to 4.00pm, and is closed on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>TAT<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The turn around time of this test is 30 days.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>Payment Rates<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Payment must be made in advanced <strong>BEFORE<\/strong> sending the specimen to us.<\/li>\n<li>Information on payment methods can be found on the test request form (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.ukm.my\/mikrobiologifper\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/07\/Pindaan-03-UKM-MIKRO-HP-B01-Borang-Ujian-kultur-CS-H.pylori-1.pdf\">download form here<\/a>).<\/li>\n<li>Each test will be charged based on the rates according to the following institutions\/hospitals:\n<ul>\n<li>HCTM \/ PPUKM \/ UKM: RM 200.00<\/li>\n<li>Government hospitals \/ laboratories: RM 200.00<\/li>\n<li>Hospital \/ private laboratories: RM 300.00<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>Test Request Procedure<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>For more information on specimen collection, storage and transport procedures, please refer to the guidelines that can be <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ukm.my\/mikrobiologifper\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/07\/Pindaan-03-Guideline-Helicobacter-pylori_PPUKM.pdf\">downloaded here<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Before sending the specimen, please <strong>FIRST<\/strong> submit proof of payment to the designated counter according to the institution to obtain a receipt (please refer to the &#8216;METHOD OF PAYMENT&#8217;
