{"id":7,"date":"2016-01-21T06:45:10","date_gmt":"2016-01-21T06:45:10","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.mycohort.gov.my\/2016\/?page_id=7"},"modified":"2020-09-07T12:20:04","modified_gmt":"2020-09-07T04:20:04","slug":"objektif","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.ukm.my\/mycohort\/ms\/objektif\/","title":{"rendered":"Objectives"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>GENERAL OBJECTIVES<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To build a rich database of information and a biobank that will be a valuable resource for research.<\/li>\n<li>To provide a platform for studying the roles and interactions of genes, environments and lifestyles in various diseases.<\/li>\n<li>To contribute to solutions and discoveries through scientific research and international collaboration.<\/li>\n<li>To participate in international research consortiums that will accelerate the quality and quantity of research in life sciences and biotechnology.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To study and determine the role and interaction of genes, environments and lifestyles in various diseases through cohort studies.<\/li>\n<li>To find out early signs of disease for cancer and other diseases by using genomic and proteomic approaches that will ultimately lead to early detection and disease prevention.<\/li>\n<li>To develop and maintain the country&#8217;s biotechnology initiatives through a systematic discovery program through international collaborative research initiatives.<\/li>\n<li>To set up a National Biobank as the primary resource of biospecimen and databank for national scientific community.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr style=\"height: 2px; border-width: 0; color: gray; background-color: gray;\" \/>\n<p><em><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">OBJEKTIF UMUM<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><em><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Untuk membina pangkalan data maklumat yang kaya dan biobank yang akan menjadi sumber berharga untuk penyelidikan.<\/span><\/em><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><em><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Untuk menyediakan platform untuk mengkaji peranan dan interaksi gen, persekitaran dan gaya hidup dalam pelbagai penyakit.<\/span><\/em><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><em><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Untuk menyumbang kepada penyelesaian dan penemuan melalui penyelidikan saintifik dan kerjasama antarabangsa.<\/span><\/em><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><em><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Untuk mengambil bahagian dalam konsortium penyelidikan antarabangsa yang akan mempercepat kualiti dan kuantiti penyelidikan dalam sains hayat dan bioteknologi.<\/span><\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><em><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">OBJEKTIF KHUSUS<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><em><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Untuk mengkaji dan menentukan peranan dan interaksi gen, persekitaran dan gaya hidup dalam pelbagai penyakit melalui kajian kohort.<\/span><\/em><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><em><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Untuk mengetahui tanda-tanda awal penyakit untuk barah dan penyakit lain dengan menggunakan pendekatan genomik dan proteomik yang akhirnya akan menyebabkan pengesanan awal dan pencegahan penyakit.<\/span><\/em><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><em><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Untuk mengembangkan dan mengekalkan inisiatif bioteknologi negara melalui program penemuan sistematik melalui inisiatif penyelidikan kolaboratif antarabangsa.<\/span><\/em><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><em><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Untuk menubuhkan Biobank Nasional sebagai sumber utama biospecimen dan pangkalan data untuk komuniti saintifik nasional.<\/span><\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>GENERAL OBJECTIVES To build a rich database of information and a biobank that will be a valuable resource for research.
