attributes which employers look for in graduates since they would be looked upon for potential leadership roles.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">He said the role of graduates is not just to get a degree and then get a job and earn a living but more to lead because they have knowledge.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cWe must realise the significant of the leadership issue since leadership qualities determine the quality of a nation and civilisation, the attitude of society and the progress of a nation,\u201d said Shazlan.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">He pointed out that leadership should not be politicised because the implication can be fatal. \u00a0\u201cThe struggle for leadership has led to many unfavourable circumstances with the common people becoming victims.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cIf we look at countries that is facing conflict, like Iran and Iraq, they all face leadership struggle, a nation can also be oppressed because of\u00a0 leadership struggle, look at Palestine, the leaders of Hamas and Fatah cannot see eye to eye. \u00a0This only gave Israel extra ammunition to exploit and oppress the Palestinian people\u201d said Shazlan.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Political leadership is now looked upon as a spring board to wealth and to comfort. \u00a0\u201cIn actual fact political leadership is a burden, and it is a trust given to you and you will be held accountable of what you do during your leadership period on the day of Judgement \u00a0by Allah.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">He outlined leadership qualities which must contain five things. He must look at his post as a trust and not prestige.
