      The Pathology Department is one of the departments in the UKM Medical Center that has achieved excellence in education, research and services.<\/p>\n

      The department has contributed a lot to the teaching system for the study of Medical Undergraduates and also Dental Undergraduates. In Postgraduate studies, the department is involved in the Master of Pathology, Master of Medical Sciences (Pathology) and Doctor of Philosophy (Pathology) Courses. Apart from that, studies as a Medical Laboratory Technologist are also offered in the Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (DTMP) Course.<\/p>\n

      Expertise in the Department of Pathology covers various disciplines in the field of pathology: Anatomical Pathology, Hematology, Chemical Pathology, Forensic Pathology, Perinatal Pathology, Molecular Diagnostics and also Blood Bank Services.<\/p>\n

      Contributions other than teaching and clinical expertise in the field of pathology, the department is also proactive in research for each discipline and has obtained a high number of research grants. Grants obtained by academic staff also accommodate many Master of Medical Science and Doctor of Philosophy candidates in this department.<\/p>\n

      The combination of highly motivated, innovative, creative and ethical academic staff and support staff is able to meet the needs of a successful Research University.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>
