      \n\t\t\t\t\t\tThe ASEAN Virtual Youth Mobility Program is a two-weeks virtual programme that focuses on the awareness and understanding of ASEAN. This program will bring academics within the region and outside the region to give guest lectures on each nation. This will be followed by project-based learning activities where participants will be involved in group projects to discuss about matters arising. The programme creates a platform for a network between the younger generation to build ideas and interact with people of different ASEAN country.\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

Having completed her thesis on practices of female modesty in contemporary Malaysian media, Nurzihan is currently expanding her research interests by working on several grants and has published in journals, books, and conference proceedings on youths, new media and cultural studies. A senior lecturer at the Centre for Research in Media and Communication (MENTION) at the Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia's Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, she is also the Journal Manager of Malaysian Journal of Communication and Head of Cluster for Media Literacy Empowerment and Digital Content.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

      Mr. Filmor J. Murillo is an Associate Professor at Camarines Sur Polytechnic Colleges. He holds a BA in English and has earned his Master of Development Communication degree from the University of the Philippines Open University. Currently, he is pursuing his PhD in English Studies (Language) at the University of the Philippines-Diliman. His research interests include English language studies, stylistics, rhetoric, semiotics\/linguistic landscape, pragmatics, gender studies and literary studies.       Ms. Gina V. Lopez is currently connected with one of Cambodia\u2019s premier universities, The University of Cambodia as Vice President for International Affairs and Dean of The Tony Fernandes School of Business. Her knowledge and expertise about the Association of South East Asian Nations (ASEAN) stemmed from years of working and interactions with people coming from the different countries of Southeast Asia and beyond. Her 5 years of working with the International Catholic Migration Commission (ICMC) at a refugee camp in the Philippines gave her the first hand understanding of the collective and differentiating cultures of people from the Philippines, Cambodia, Laos and Vietnam. It was her refugee camp work experiences and exposures that gave her the advantage in assuming academic leadership role when she moved\u00a0 to Cambodia. It was her full understanding of the Southeast Asian culture that enabled her to implement academic programs from the students\u2019 level involving establishing networks and linkages for students with different business and international entities to the management level involving partnership and cooperation for the university with stakeholders within and outside Cambodia. Her active and ongoing engagements with EU-SHARE Programs and other events with international students from Malaysia, Indonesia, Myanmar, Laos, Vietnam and Timor-Leste is a proof of how she fully understands ASEAN from different\u00a0 perspectives.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

      Assoc. Prof. Dr. Abdul Latiff Ahmad is the Director of the International Relations Centre (UKM Global) and an Associate Professor in the Centre of Research in Media and Communication, Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. He obtained his PhD in Communication Studies from University of Queensland, Australia. He is currently the Malaysian Regional Vice President for the World Communication Association. He is also a Fulbright Alumni. His research interests include intercultural communication and internationalization. He has led research grants and consultancy project from Toshiba International Foundation, Ministry of Youth and Sports Malaysia, Ministry of Higher Education Malaysia, SHARE EU and the Central Bank of Malaysia.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

      Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tanot Unjah is a Research Fellow at the Institute for Environment and Development (LESTARI), Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM). She also serves as the Deputy Director of the International Relations Centre (UKM Global). She is very active in her research activities which includes nature conservation, geoheritage development and management (geotourism and geopark), sustainable utilization of non-renewable resources and geohazard. Her research work on conservation geology is vital in being translated and endorsed by Langkawi Global Geopark under UNESCO and currently, an active member of Malaysian National Geopark Implementation Committee under The Ministry of Natural Resources and Energy to develop geopark throughout the country.<\/p>\n

      Nguyen Thuy Van (Julie)<\/h3>\n

      Phu Yen University, Vietnam<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

      Dr. Nguyen Thuy Van (Julie) is a Vietnamese scholar. She holds a Ph.D. in Educational Management and Administration from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM). Upon completion of her Ph.D. study, she continues doing postdoctoral teaching and research at the School of Education, Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities at UTM. Currently, she works as senior researcher in the research Journal Depertment in Phu Yen University, Vietnam. Her main area of interest is student development and teaching pedagogy in teacher education. She dedicated her Ph.D. thesis to examining academic advising practices in Malaysian public universities. Academic advising is employed to ensure that undergraduate students can graduate on time. In her study, she explored the strengths and challenges in the ASEAN higher education environment for local and international students. Her teaching field is a teaching pedagogy for teacher education for undergraduates and student development for postgraduate students. She has over 20 articles published in Scopus indexed journals related to academic advising, teaching and learning, higher education for sustainable development. Currently, she is interested in conducting researches regarding Local and International Education for Sustainable Development Goals in different levels.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>
