Industry Liaison Office (PHI), Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) was established on 1 April 2007 following the restructuring of the Centre for Public and International Relations (PUSPA). The decision was made during UKM’s Board of Directors Meeting dated 8 March 2007

Mission
PHI acts as a matchmaker between Universities and Industry in establishing sustainable and mutually beneficial relationships by promoting existing expertise, students and facilities.
Objectives
Industrial Training
To establish relationships with industry for key activities including research, placement of students in industrial training and employment opportunities for graduates.
Industry Collaboration
To be the secretariat for cooperation related to activities between University-Industry relations.
Collaborative Activities
To coordinate information and make analysis related to activities under the cooperation (LoI / MoU / MoA) of Faculty/Institute/service centre UKM for reporting to TNC (JIAM), MKB and Senate.
Industry Program
To coordinate programs with industry / industry organizations / BKIM, JPT in collaboration with Faculty/Institute/service centre such as CEO Talk, talks and discussions.
