The second round were held in UiTM Puncak Alam Campus from 14-17 April 2014. It was held in Dewan Serba Guna, Kolej Angsana. Some of UiTM students also came to check in for hostel that day. Full registration was recorded the next day, both for hostel check-in and class registration as well.

The trainer, Mr. Razak gave fine lecturers and divided the topics accordingly. The class started at 9.00 a.m and ended at 5.00 p.m. every day. Students were exposed with the real working experience and were given exercises based on the real documents provided by Razak & Co. They learned how to work on accounting in the real sense manually, instead of using modern software. The learning process was interactive where students can ask whatever questions they don’t understand directly.

On the last day of the program, certification ceremony was held to acknowledge their attendance and participation in the program. During the first round in UKM, Puan Yazlina Saduri represented UKM and gave appreciation remarks to all students, followed by Puan Mushrifah from UiTM Shah Alam in the second round.

RECOMMENDATION

Based on the participation list, the numbers of students who joined the program was very encouraging. This can also be seen during the class attendance. The students’ commitment is commendable where they stayed on until the last day of the program.

However, the biggest challenge was the program was held during mid-semester break. Based on the first list, they were a larger number of students agreed to participate. In the end, the number reduced to a smaller number as many of them have returned to their hometown or already occupied with prior arranged commitment.

The training firm also suggested that the program should be conducted a few days before students undergo their internship program so when they come to work they will with fresh mind. Apart from that, it is also important to organize the program based on regional factor. Therefore, time and energy can be save up as maximum as it could be.
