Women’s Entrepreneurship & Leadership Project Discussion Session
On 18 May 2026, the Tun Fatimah Hashim Women’s Leadership Centre (PKWTFH) organised a Women’s Entrepreneurship & Leadership Project Discussion Session with Dr. Anna Sekhar from Torrens University, Australia, together with a group of experienced academicians and experts from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) specialising in entrepreneurship and women’s economic development.
The discussion session served as an important platform for bringing together diverse perspectives, ideas, and expertise aimed at strengthening women’s leadership and entrepreneurship development through academic engagement, research initiatives, and international collaborative networks. Various strategic recommendations and insights were shared to expand opportunities for women’s capacity building, particularly in the areas of leadership, innovation, entrepreneurship, and community empowerment.
In addition, the discussion highlighted potential collaborations in research, the development of high-impact programmes, and the implementation of initiatives that can contribute to the holistic and sustainable advancement of women in the future. It is hoped that sessions such as this will serve as a catalyst for more strategic partnerships that benefit society, particularly women and youth.
