The National Women’s Agenda Forum and the Launch of the Book “30 Years of CEDAW Malaysia”.
On 30 September 2025, the Tun Fatimah Hashim Women’s Leadership Centre (PKWTFH) attended the National Women’s Agenda Forum and witnessed the Launch of the Book “30 Years of CEDAW Malaysia.” The forum was organised by the Ministry of Women, Family and Community Development (KPWKM) and officiated by YB Dato’ Sri Hajah Nancy Shukri, Minister of Women, Family and Community Development.
The forum highlighted the significance of the National Women’s Policy (DWN), which is grounded in the principles of equality, justice, and recognition of women’s contributions to national development. Key discussion points included:
? Empowering women in the fields of economy, education, politics, and leadership.
? Protecting women’s rights and well-being at all stages of life.
? Promoting shared responsibilities between women and men within families, communities, and the nation.
The forum also explored the role of women in navigating the digital era, featuring an Inspirational CEO Talk with Hajah Padzilah Enda Sulaiman, Founder of Telekung Siti Khadijah, who shared her journey in elevating a local brand to the global stage. Another segment, “Dalam Sirna Ada Sinar”, delved into issues surrounding the protection of women’s rights and well-being after divorce.
PKWTFH’s participation in this forum reaffirms its commitment to advancing the women’s empowerment agenda, in line with the spirit of 30 Years of CEDAW Malaysia — a cornerstone in the pursuit of gender equality at both national and international levels.
