Pahang<\/p><p>The general objective of this study is to analyze and understand the livelihood of the Orang Asli of Tasik Chini, Pahang.<\/p><p>The specific objectives of the study are to:<\/p><ul><li>Establish the profile of the Orang Asli;<\/li><li>Analyze the livelihood assets available to the Orang Asli;<\/li><li>Identify key strategies that they employ to make a living, cope with stresses and shocks, and;<\/li><li>Propose strategies and programmes to enhance Orang Asli capabilities for long-term well-being<\/li><\/ul><p>Theoretically, this study uses a Sustainable Livelihood Approach, by focusing on developing 5 key assets, namely human (health, education, skill), economic, environment, social and political (governance,
