Research Project – MOSTI TED 1 EOP

On July 17, 2023, the CESPRO Research Laboratory on the 3rd floor of the Akademia Siber Teknopolis (AST) building at UKM was enlivened by a visit from the MOSTI panel for the final presentation of the TED1 project. The project, led by the Coordinator of the Smart and Sustainable Materials Sub-field, Assoc. Prof. Ts. Dr. Mohd Shaiful Sajab, was successfully delivered to the panel and received high praise for its achievements.

The TED1 project has made significant strides, including the development of a full prototype process for converting biomass into biopolymer for 3D printing applications. Additionally, the project has successfully supported the research of two MSc students and resulted in the filing of one patent. These accomplishments highlight the innovative and impactful work being conducted at CESPRO.
