Visiting Scholar – PSAS
On February 1, 2024, the Sultan Azlan Shah Polytechnic (PSAS) visited the Center for Sustainable Process Technology (CESPRO) at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) to engage in a collaborative exchange on the advancements and applications of 3D printing (3DP) technology. This visit aimed to enhance the educational experiences and learning outcomes of PSAS students.
During the visit, representatives from PSAS and our team, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mohd Shaiful Sajab engaged in two-way communication, discussing the integration of 3DP technology into the curriculum. The dialogue highlighted how 3DP can be utilized to foster practical skills, creativity, and problem-solving abilities among students. By witnessing live demonstrations and participating in hands-on activities, PSAS students and faculty gained valuable insights into the potential of 3DP technology to revolutionize educational methodologies.
The visit underscored the importance of incorporating cutting-edge technologies in education to prepare students for future challenges and opportunities in various industries. Both institutions expressed their commitment to ongoing collaboration to further enhance student learning outcomes through innovative technological applications.
