Applications for the 2023 APEC Healthy Women, Healthy Economies Research Prize are now being accepted, per a press release recently issued by the APEC Secretariat. Launched in 2019, the Prize spotlights outstanding research that strives to improve women’s health, economic well-being, and chart more inclusive growth. The winning entry will again receive USD 20,000 and two runners-up will receive USD 5,000 each, generously sponsored by Merck. Applications for the Prize are now being accepted – with a deadline of 3 June 2023.

We encourage you to help publicize this year’s prize by:

• Encouraging individuals to apply (a flyer providing a high-level overview of the Prize is attached in the zip file) 
• Tweeting about the prize using #HWHEPrize (examples below / jpeg tile attached in the zip file)
• Posting about the prize on LinkedIn using #HWHEPrize and #HealthyWomenHealthyEconomies (examples below / jpeg tile attached in the zip file)
