Financial assistance for publishing fees with the following conditions :<\/strong><\/p>\n

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

  1. Applications are open to academic staff of the Faculty of Medicine only.\n<\/em>

    <\/em><\/p><\/span><\/li>\n

  2. The maximum number of applications allowed is three (3) <\/strong>times per year.\n<\/em>

    <\/em><\/p><\/span><\/li>\n

  3. Articles must be published in WOS (SCIE\/SSCI) <\/strong>journals ranked within quartiles (Q1\u2013Q4) <\/strong>according to the <\/em>Journal Citation Reports <\/em><\/strong>(based on the Journal Impact Factor from two (2) years prior<\/strong>).\n<\/em>

    <\/em><\/p><\/span><\/li>\n

  4. Applications are limited to publications from the current <\/strong>year only, subject to approval and availability of remaining funds.\n<\/em>

    <\/em><\/p><\/span><\/li>\n

  5. For publication in November and December of the previous year, applications must be submitted within two (2) months after the article is published.\n<\/em>

    <\/em><\/p><\/span><\/li>\n

  6. Applications must be submitted by the first author <\/strong>or corresponding author <\/strong>only (co-authors, even if they are the sole UKM author, are not eligible).\n<\/em>

    <\/em><\/p><\/span><\/li>\n

  7. Applications can be made on a claim basis or through direct payment to the journal publisher.\n<\/em>

    <\/em><\/p><\/span><\/li>\n

  8. Payments made using grants or other funding sources will not be considered.\n<\/em>

    <\/em><\/p><\/span><\/li>\n

  9. If a publication has two (2) corresponding authors, the faculty will only cover half of the total publication fee.\n<\/em>

    <\/em><\/p><\/span><\/li>\n

  10. The article should be of the first or corresponding author’s specialty<\/em>.\n<\/em>

    <\/em><\/p><\/span><\/li>\n

  11. Each article is eligible for publication fee assistance only once.\n<\/em>

    <\/em><\/p><\/span><\/li>\n

  12. The author is required to use the affiliation of the Faculty of Medicine, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia.\n<\/em>

    <\/em><\/p><\/span><\/li>\n

  13. The maximum rate of is based on the journals quartile as follows:<\/em><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
