In 2026, the workshop marked a significant milestone by introducing, for the first time, a hands-on simulation session for clinical students. This initiative was led by Professor Dr. Zaleha Abdullah Mahdy from the Department of Medical Education and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Rabani Remli, PPD Course Coordinator, Faculty of Medicine, UKM.<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/div><div dir=\"auto\"><strong>Practical Sessions.<\/strong><\/div><div dir=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">Students were divided into two groups, Team A and Team B, and rotated through four practical sessions: Communication, Leadership, Situation Monitoring, and Mutual Support.<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">The sessions were facilitated by dedicated lecturers from the Faculty of Medicine, UKM:<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/div><div dir=\"auto\"><strong>Team A:<\/strong><\/div><div dir=\"auto\">Communication (Room 1): Assoc. Prof. Dr. Rabani binti Remli &amp; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Aneeza Khairiyah binti Wan Hamizan<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">Leadership (Room 2): Assoc. Prof. Dr. Azarinah binti Izaham<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">Situation Monitoring (Room 7): Dr. Azrina Syarizad Kuthubul Zaman<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">Mutual Support (Room 6): Assoc. Prof. Dr. Wan Salwina binti Wan Ismail &amp; Dr. Aireen binti Zamhot<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/div><div dir=\"auto\"><strong>Team B:<\/strong><\/div><div dir=\"auto\">Communication (Room 3): Dr. Mas Fazlin binti Mohamad Jailaini &amp; Dr. Wong Kah Hie<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">Leadership (Room 4): Dr. Zainal Abdullah bin Zainal Adlishah &amp; Dr. Nurwahyuna binti Rusli<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">Situation Monitoring (Room 9): Assoc. Prof. Dr. Cheah Saw Kian &amp; Dr. Luke Woon Sy Cherng<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">Mutual Support (Room 8): Assoc. Prof. Dr. Syahnaz binti Mohd Hashim<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">During each session, students participated in simulation-based clinical scenarios by taking on the roles of nurse, House Officer, Medical Officer, and Specialist. This simulation provided practical experience in communication, teamwork, leadership, and decision-making in a clinical environment.<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">Overall, the workshop enhanced students&#8217; understanding of effective teamwork and patient safety while highlighting the importance of collaboration in delivering safe, high-quality patient care.
