For the STACLIM 2018, we will have TWO options of publication for the accepted full paper or abstract. Accepted paper or abstract should be presented by one of the paper authors in this conference.<\/p>\n
Submitting a paper via EDAS is simple and consists of four steps: (1) logging in or creating an account; (2)\u00a0registering the paper; (3) adding authors and (4) submitting the manuscript file. We describe the steps in detail below.<\/p>\n
(1) Logging in to EDAS\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>(You can login here for STACLIM 2018<\/a>)<\/p>\n To use EDAS, you will need to log in first. If you do not have an account on the EDAS system:\u00a0<\/em>If you do not have an EDAS account, you need to register as a user.\u00a0 It is simple; initially only the fields marked with a red star (name, affiliation, country, email, status) are required. You may update all other input fields later.\u00a0\u00a0Please use a university, corporate, government, IEEE or ACM email address<\/em>. Anonymous email addresses may delay the creation of the account. If you have only a public domain email address like Gmail or Hotmail, then please register and they may send a re-confirmation email which you have to click to confirm;\u00a0 or you can contact\u00a0help@edas-help.com.<\/a>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The EDAS support staff is very prompt and helpful.\u00a0\u00a0 The password for accessing the EDAS system will be sent to you via e-mail. Once you receive your password, you can return to EDAS and log in.<\/p>\n (2) Registering the Paper<\/strong><\/p>\n Registering the paper records the paper\u2019s title, abstract, topics and authors in EDAS. Click the \u201cSubmit paper\u201d tab at the top of the page.\u00a0 If you don\u2019t see the \u201cSubmit Paper\u201d button, click on the EDAS \u201cHome\u201d button.<\/em><\/p>\n Find your conference among the list of conferences accepting submissions. 9th IEEE-GCC listed in the top 10. Fill in the form:<\/em><\/p>\n Enter the title and abstract of the paper. (3) Adding Authors<\/strong><\/p>\n Add authors by following the link after registering the paper or going to your EDAS homepage and following the link for your paper. Note that your paper has to have at least one author before you can submit a manuscript.<\/p>\n (4) Submitting the manuscript file<\/strong><\/p>\n After registering the paper you will find a link to upload your manuscript.\u00a0\u00a0You can also click the upload icon (last item in the \u2018Change Add\u201d column)\u00a0in the details table.<\/em>\u00a0In some browsers, you may need to temporarily disable\u00a0the \u201cpop-up blocker\u201d.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n
\nIf you already have an account, please enter your email address and password on the EDAS login page.
\nIf you do not know whether you have an account on this EDAS system, try entering your email address.
\nEDAS will check whether your account exists or not, and respond accordingly.
\nIf you have an account but forgot your password, please leave the password field blank; EDAS will e-mail your password to you.<\/p>\n
\nBefore submitting a manuscript for review, the paper has to be registered.
\nAfter logging in to EDAS, you will see your overall EDAS system homepage.<\/p>\n
\nTo begin the process of submitting your paper, click on the \u2018submit\u2019 icon for the conference.
\nYou should then see the web form for registering your paper submission.<\/p>\n
\nYour paper title should NOT be in all upper or all lower-case.
\nCheck the box \u201cAdd yourself as author\u201d if you are indeed an author of the paper.<\/em>
\nYou can add other authors later and you can change the order of authors.<\/em>
\nEnter keywords, if configured for your conference.
\nSelect the topics from the list of paper topics that best classify your paper.
\nOnce you have all the information filled in, click on the \u201cSubmit\u201d button at the bottom of the page.
\nThis will lead to a page that acknowledges your paper\u2019s registration and allows you to add authors.
\nA confirmation e-mail will be sent to you.<\/p>\n
