Rules and Regulations
Entry is open to all students and professionals from institutions/ matriculations/ foundations/ polytechnics/ universities/ colleges/ industries/ SMEs by individual or group (maximum three (3) persons) in Malaysia and worldwide.
Competition fee will be based on per entry.
Only ONE certificate of participation will be issued.
Ideas shall be original and the idea can be an outcome of a PhD, Master, Undergraduate Final Year Project, or any research work. Collaborative research projects with industry partners are highly encouraged.
Judging process will be based on the submitted extended abstracts and posters. The best selected teams will be invited to pitch (5 minutes) their ideas in front of the Grand Jury who will choose the winners for the Grand Prizes.

Abstract and Poster Submission (Preliminary Stage)
Every participant is required to upload an extended abstract, using the format provided by the organizer, as well as an A4-sized poster showcasing their ideas, by submitting it through the provided online form.
After the first round of judging, the selected teams will pitch (5-minute pitching) their ideas in front of the Grand Jury.
Each selected participant will be invited to UKM for the final pitching.
It is compulsory to prepare presentation slides. See details on preparation slides guidelines.
Participants are also encouraged to display a model, prototype, pictures, or sample related to the idea. This will help the panel of judges to understand the research project better.
The Grand Jury will choose the top 3 winners and 2 consolation winners for each category.
Presentation Slides Preparation Guidelines (participant will have to submit slides)
All participants have the freedom to design their presentation slides for a 5-minute presentation based on their creativity.
