The focus of U-INSPIRE Malaysia was mainly on policy intervention, knowledge sharing, capacity building, innovative science communication, and technology transfer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This platform was initiated with the existing youth and young professional groups in Malaysia, who shared an interest in disaster risk reduction and climate change. The platform and all activities are open to all youth and young professionals, not limited to physical science but also include those from the social sciences and humanities background. This can be further expanded in the future to include groups such as professional bodies, and others. The main source of communication will be the platform\u2019s official mailing list, managed by the facilitator.
