Internship Programme – Trainee, EHS @ Entegris (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd.

Entegris Malaysia Sdn Bhd, Kulim Kedah would like to share  on their 2023 INTERNSHIP PROGRAMME.

They are hiring for EHS team; Trainee, EHS as per below details. 

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Assist in day-to-day EHS related works;
2. Assist in implementing site environmental health and safety (H&S) programs;
3. Asist in internal performance metric reports are submitted accurately and within established deadlines;
4. Involve and contribute in coordinating and carrying out EHS Assessment program, that include (but not limited to Job Safety Analysis, Ergonomic Assessment, etc;
5. Assist in Industrial Hygiene program implementation (SDS, Labelling, Signages, Chemical inventory, monitoring etc);
6. Assist in implementing Site Emergency Response plan;
7. Take part in routine internal and external EHS inspection/audit/Gemba;
8. Coordinate and organize EHS promotional activities (campaign, talk, roadshow etc);
9. Asist in conducting EHS related training for employees, visitors, and contractors;
10. Assist to manage and monitor EHS modules in the ETQ system;
11. Any other job functions are required by management.

Desired Skills & Qualifications:

1. Candidate must possess or pursuing at least Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Health and Safety/Chemistry/Environmental Studies or equivalent with CGPA 3.0 and above.
2. Interpersonal skills; ability to develop working relationships effectively at all levels throughout the company.
3. Communication skills (written and oral), good command of Malay and English.
4. Problem solving skill, accountability & workforce diversity
5. High level of initiative, self-motivated, able to plan and prioritize workload in order to achieve deadlines.
6. Work independent, demonstrate effective communication and develop working relationships with all levels of people from various department
7. Result oriented, persistent & self-confidence.
8. Preferred internship period of 6 months and able to start in February 2023.

Working Location: Kulim Hi-Tech Park.
