Hi, do join us for our next Sustainability Talk Series to educate, discuss & promote the exchange of ideas on the current sustainability issues.  This month’s special talk is from our Chairman of Scientific Advisory Committee, YBhg. Tan Sri Dato’ Sri Dr. Salleh Mohd Nor<\/strong>. The title of this webinar is Sustainable Development: Is It Truly Achievable?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Sustainable Development has been defined as \u201cDevelopment that meets the needs of the Present without compromising the needs of the Future\u201d. Malaysia launched the <\/span>Sustainable Development Goals (<\/span>SDG) Indicators in 2019 to achieve the United Nations <\/span>SDGs. Covering the whole 17 indicators, these are ambitious goals. The issue is \u201cCan they be achieved?\u201d and what needs to be done to achieve these goals. The talk shall discuss these issues and how we as Malaysian citizens can play a role.<\/p>\n
