It is important because from a medical perspective prevention is better than cure. Health screenings save life by early detection of conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, hypercholesterolemia or obesity and can help prevent serious diseases.<\/p>\n<p>Many cases of disease exist and remain undiagnosed that seriously affect our quality of life.
