YTI Knowledge Sharing & Transfer 2025

The Tun Ismail Mohamed Ali Distinguished Chair (YTI-UKM) organized the community program ‘YTI-UKM Knowledge Sharing & Transfer 2025′ on 15 July 2025 at Lecture Hall 2, Faculty of Economics and Management, UKM.
This community program was held with the aim of disseminating knowledge on financial and investment literacy among the general public and communities in Malaysia. In addition, YTI-UKM believes that this initiative can benefit the target participants through engaging and relaxed learning methods, such as interactive quiz games.
This program was held in collaboration with 36 secondary schools under the Pejabat Pendidikan Daerah Hulu Langat involving 160 Form 5 students (specializing in economics and accounting).
Together at the event were Associate Professor Dr. Hazrul Izuan Shahiri (Deputy Dean of Undergraduate Studies, Faculty of Economics and Management) and Associate Professor Dr. Mohd Hasimi Yaacob (Manager, YTI-UKM Chair).
Unlocking Your Career Pathways in Banking, Finance & Investment
A collaboration between the Faculty of Economics and Management Student Association (PMFEP), RHB Bank, the Tun Ismail Mohamed Ali Foundation UKM (YTI-UKM), and UKM-Career has been established to implement the program Unlocking Career Pathways in Banking, Finance & Investment. This program aims to expose students to various career opportunities in the fields of banking, finance, and investment, presented by RHB Bank and YTI-UKM.
In addition, the program serves to expand networking opportunities between UKM students and companies through direct insights into the job market. Various exciting opportunities will be shared by recruitment experts, offering valuable knowledge about the working world while also building professional relationships.
The program was held on 11 June 2025 at Lecture Hall 1, Faculty of Economics and Management, UKM and attended by a total of 90 undergraduate students.
Together at the event were Dr. Wong Wai Yan (Acting Manager, YTI-UKM Chair), Dr. Naziatul Aziah Mohd Radzi (Student Affairs Coordinator, Faculty of Economics and Management, UKM), and officers from RHB Bank Berhad.

Bijak Pelaburan, Hebat Masa Depan

Program Bijak Pelaburan, Hebat Masa Depan ialah inisiatif di bawah subjek Pengurusan Pelaburan dan Portfolio (EPPM3654) dengan kerjasama Kursi Yayasan Tun Ismail Mohamed Ali (YTI-UKM), bertujuan untuk meningkatkan literasi kewangan dan pelaburan dalam kalangan pelajar tingkatan 3 dan 4 di SMK Kajang Utama. Berteraskan tema “Your Money, Your Rules, Your Future,” program ini direka untuk menyediakan pelajar dengan kemahiran praktikal dalam pengurusan kewangan harian, kesedaran risiko kewangan, dan asas pelaburan. Melalui aktiviti interaktif dan simulasi, peserta akan dilatih untuk membuat keputusan kewangan yang bijak dan berfikir secara kritis, mempersiapkan mereka untuk menghadapi cabaran kewangan masa depan.
Penyertaan seramai 89 orang pelajar, program ini terbukti telah memberi impak positif kepada seluruh warga SMK Kajang Utama. Turut dihadiri Penolong Kanan Pentadbiran SMK Kajang utama, Pn. Afidah Daud, Penolong Kanan HEM YM Tunku Hamidah Tunku Ahmad, GKMP Teknik dan Vokasional Pn. Norhidayati Jalil serta Pengurus Kursi YTI-UKM, Prof. Madya Dr. Mohd Hasimi Yaacob telah menyempurnakan program ini.
