Components from Goniothalamus fasciculatus and

G. malayanus

ABSTRACT

 

Ethyl acetate extract of the stem-bark of Goniothalamus fasciculatus gave pinocembrin while petroleum ether and chloroform extracts of the roots of G. malayanus gave scorazanone and altholactone respectively. All metabolites were identified by spectroscopic techniques and comparison with published data

 

ABSTRAK

 

Ekstrak kulit batang Goniothalamus fasciculatus memberikan pinosembrin, sementara ekstrak petroleum eter dan kloroform akar G. malayanus masing-masing memberikan skorazanon dan altolakton. Kesemua metabolit dikenal pasti menggunakan teknik spektroskopi dan perbandingan dengan data rujukan.
