The Malaysian Capacity Building Network for IWRM (MyCapNet) was established in 2001 under the auspices of the Malaysian Water Partnership (MyWP). MyCapNet is supported by 15 institutions of higher learning and organisations who have similar interest in promoting IWRM in Malaysia through education and training in IWRM.
MyCapNet is the Malaysian Chapter of CapNet and hence has a similar mandate as CapNet, that is, to foster better exchange of information and resources development for IWRM in Malaysia. MyCapNet has been envisaged to be part of the Soautheast Asia Regional Network for Capacity Building in IWRM (SEACapNet). Hence it would be linked to the Global CapNet and other similar regional and national networks.
