Workshop on ‘DISASTER PREVENTION AND ADAPTATION’

The purpose of the workshop is to solicit inputs on adaptation programmes to be proposed to the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, Malaysia. The proposed adaptation programmes will be part of the outcomes from the study onDevelopment of Adaptation Roadmap for Malaysia, 2020 and beyond’.

The objectives of the workshop are as follow:

  1. Share findings of research conducted as part of the above mentioned study;
  2. Strengthen the proposed adaptation programmes that enhance the resilience of Malaysia in a changing climate; and
  3. Identify appropriate implementing agencies and collaborators to mainstream national adaptation programmes.
