3DP in Sustainability Living Workshop Module

Pengurusan Aset Air Berhad (PAAB) entrusted the UKM-YSD Chair for Sustainability, FKAB UKM, and their team with the opportunity to organize a comprehensive day-long sustainability workshop on December 14, 2023. The workshop, which included two informative sessions, was designed to cater to over 160 participants, making the planning phase quite hectic. However, the event culminated in an enriching and joyful experience for all involved. Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM), FKAB UKM, and the UKM-YSD Chair for Sustainability remain steadfast in their commitment to sharing sustainability ideas and knowledge with both the industry and society. They look forward to further opportunities to organize such engaging and impactful events.

A special thanks was extended to all the staff, postgraduate students, and the JKKP UKM CheSC-SC IChemE student club for their hard work and dedication over the past few weeks. Their efforts were instrumental in the success of the workshop. The event also highlighted the innovative use of 3D printing (3DP) technology in promoting sustainability. By recycling PET plastic into functional products, the workshop demonstrated practical applications of 3DP technology in sustainable practices.
