3DP PETIR (PET in-house Recycling) with Kolej PERMATA Insan

Kajang, November 22, 2024 – CESPRO/JKKP, the Faculty of Engineering & Built Environment, and the STEM Cultivation Research Center at UKM hosted students from Kolej Permata Insan, Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia, for the 3DP STEAMulation Programme. Led by PM Ts. Dr. Mohd Shaiful Sajab, the event featured the PETIR (PET in-house Recycling) module, where students transformed collected PET plastic waste into 3D printing material for new products. This initiative introduced students to the circular economy concept through engineering technology, fostering their interest in STEM with sustainable engineering solutions.
