Dr Siti Khadijah graduated as a Medical Doctor from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. After gaining clinical experience serving in a state hospital, district hospital and a government primary care clinic, she then joined the Medical Practice Division, Ministry of Health (MOH), Putrajaya in 2008. Dr Siti Khadijah has more than 10 years of experience in the regulatory framework of the private healthcare system in Malaysia – both in policy making & law enforcement. She completed her Master of Health & Medical Law from University of Melbourne, Australia with full scholarship under the Government of Malaysia in 2015. Throughout her years in Medical Practice Division MOH, she had played a pivotal role in comprehensive implementation of the Private Healthcare Facilities & Services Act through enhanced networking with other regulatory entities and relevant government agencies. In 2021, Dr Siti Khadijah decided to expand her horizon and views by being part of the private healthcare system itself, and joined IHH Healthcare Malaysia – one of the largest healthcare provider in Malaysia with established hospital brands (Gleneagles, Pantai, Price Court, Timberland) and multiple ancillary services. She is currently Assistant Vice President for the Regulatory Affairs & Government Liaison corporate portfolio under IHH Healthcare Malaysia, while also double hatting as the Head of Patient Experience & Support Services Division in Gleneagles Hospital Kuala Lumpur.
