DEPARTMENT OF PHYSIOLOGY EXCELLENCE AND STRATEGIC DIRECTION WORKSHOP 2025

4 – 5 October 2025

The Department of Physiology Excellence and Strategic Direction Workshop 2025 was successfully held on 4 and 5 October 2025 at Hotel Grand Lexis, Port Dickson.

The workshop brought together all members of the Department of Physiology to strengthen the department’s strategic direction in facing the challenges and opportunities of the year 2026.

This program also served as a platform for reflection on past achievements, while providing space for the exchange of new ideas as well as the planning and improvement of departmental activities in a more organized and effective manner.

With the renewed spirit cultivated throughout this workshop, the Department of Physiology is determined to move forward as a distinguished, competitive, and relevant department in meeting the evolving challenges of the education and research landscape.

PHYSIOLOGY INTENSIVE COURSE 2025

23 – 25 September 2025

The Physiology Intensive Course 2025, organized by the Department of Physiology, Faculty of Medicine, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, was successfully conducted online from 23–25 September 2025.

This annual programme aims to strengthen participants’ understanding of physiology and to help them prepare effectively for upcoming examinations.

A total of 120 participants, the majority of whom are specialist trainees in Surgery, Otorhinolaryngology, and Emergency Medicine, took part in the course. The programme featured experienced lecturers and interactive learning activities to enhance teaching and learning effectiveness.

Heartfelt appreciation is extended to all speakers, facilitators, committee members, and participants for their commitment, cooperation, and dedication in ensuring the success of this programme.

May the knowledge and experience gained continue to benefit all participants and contribute to their academic and professional excellence.
