Course overview
The Master of Engineering in Chemical Engineering programme is offered by Department of Chemical and Process Engineering as a coursework programme. The programme covers core courses of the chemical engineering programme such as process design and optimization, process design using latest computational techniques, risk analysis & safety and project management. Advances in emerging technologies are offered through three choices of module; Biochemical Engineering, Process Sustainability Technology and Energy Engineering. Each module offered in the specific area and focusing in the advance chemical engineering course such as bioprocess engineering, biopharmaceutical
technology and Advanced Biomaterial Engineering in the Biochemical Engineering module, green separation technology, industrial wastewater management and symbiotic eco- community in Process
Sustainability Technology module and renewable energy, solar energy and fuel cell technology in Energy Engineering module. Besides, research skills are offered in two project courses. At the end of the program,
the students should not only understand, but can apply and develop their own advanced technologies in chemical and biochemical industries as listed above.
