Community @ HEJIM FKAB is an initiative under Industry and Community Network Affairs, Faculty of Engineering and Built Environment, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. This initiative serves as a bridge connecting faculty members, the local community, industry partners, government agencies, educational institutions, and other stakeholders through high-impact programmes.
Grounded in a knowledge-for-society approach, Komuniti @ HEJIM FKAB focuses on delivering knowledge transfer activities, community service, capacity building, expertise sharing, and strategic collaborations centered on engineering and the built environment. The programmes organized aim not only to contribute to community well-being, but also to reinforce the university's role as a catalyst for sustainable development and social innovation.
This portfolio brings together various community activities undertaken by members of FKAB UKM, including STEM education programmes, safety and environmental awareness initiatives, technical training, community engagement, school and industry collaborations, as well as projects supporting sustainable societal development.
