Course overview
The Master of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering programme is offered by the Department of Mechanical and Materials Engineering as a coursework programme. The programme covers core courses of the mechanical engineering programme namely thermosfluids, applied mechanics, advanced materials and processes. In these courses, students are exposed to current trends and issues in the field of study. Students are also taught research management and aspects of entrepreneurship.
Academic Requirements
CGPA 2.50 and above from recognized university; or
CGPA 2.00 – 2.49 from recognized university with at least 5 years working experience; or
Minimum CGPA 3.00 from recognized university with non-engineering background; or
CGPA 2.99 and below from recognized university with non-engineering background and 5 years working experience.
Graduation Requirements
Course evaluation conducted without final examination.
