Introduction

The International Allied Health Conference on Innovation & Excellence 2026 (i-ACHIEVE 2026) is a premier international innovation platform organized by the Faculty of Health Sciences, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM), in conjunction with the 15th International Symposium of Health Sciences (I-SIHAT 2026).

Held under the theme “Advancing Health Frontiers: Innovation and Global Partnerships,” i-ACHIEVE 2026 aims to accelerate high-impact innovation in allied health sciences by connecting academia, industry, government agencies, and global partners.

This conference serves as a strategic platform to translate research into real-world solutions, foster commercialization pathways, and strengthen collaborative networks that advance healthcare technology and community well-being

    • Attend the award presentation and winner announcement

While the Innovation Competition requires paid registration, the exhibition, talks, clinics, and pitching sessions are accessible to the public at no charge.

The competition is open to students, lecturers, researchers, professionals, government agencies, private sector representatives, and independent innovators in the field of allied health sciences. Innovations may include:

  • Health technologies
  • Products and prototypes
  • Innovative services or intervention models
  • Methods or processes related to allied health sciences

Participating teams are required to:

  • Submit a structured innovation abstract (150–300 words)
  • Deliver a 7-minute pitching presentation before a judging panel
  • Exhibit their innovation at a designated booth

Tentative of the Innovation Seminar

  • 9:00 – 9:45 AM : Talk 1 – MRANTI “Innovation Acceleration & Marketing: From Idea to Market”
  • 9:45 – 10:30 AM : Talk 2 – MySTI “MySTI Registration: Process, Benefits & Responsibilities for Malaysian Innovators”
  • 10:30 – 11:15 AM : Talk 3 – MDEC “Startups & Funding Opportunities” Industry and startup partnerships 11:30 AM – 1:00 PM : INNOVATION COMPETITION PITCHING JUDGING SESSION
  • 1:00 – 2:30 PM : Lunch Break (participants can lunch at MRANTI's nearby restaurants, no meals provided)
  • 2:30 – 3:00 PM : Official Closing Ceremony
  • 3:00 – 4:00 PM : Award Presentation & Winner Announcement

💰 Competition Registration Fee

  • Participation in the Innovation Competition requires a registration fee of RM250 per team (minimum 1 person and maximum 5 members per group, including the main innovator).
  • One registration allows submission of one abstract, and at least one representative must complete the registration process.
  • However, unlimited supporters, colleagues, and friends are welcome to attend the presentation day and enter the innovation seminar and workshops
  • All accepted abstracts will be published in a special issue of Medicine & Health, a WoS (ESCI) Q4-indexed journal
  • All innovations will qualify for any GOLD, SILVER, or BRONZE medals.
  • A Special MRANTI Innovation Award will be presented to a selected innovation demonstrating exceptional potential in commercialization, scalability, and national impact.
  • This prestigious recognition highlights innovations that align with Malaysia’s strategic innovation agenda and demonstrate strong readiness for market acceleration under MRANTI’s ecosystem.

i-ACHIEVE INNOVATION ABSTRACT SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

ABSTRACT GUIDELINE

  1. We welcome abstracts on innovation of allied health-related research fields. Submit your abstract electronically through the submission platform.
  2. One registration only allows for one abstract. RM 250 per registration, the head of the group or one representative from the group must register for the event. You are allowed to include at most 5 members’ names in the abstract. These names will be put in the certificate of participation. However, you can invite unlimited friends, supporters or colleagues to come for the presentation day; all of them are allowed to enter the innovation seminar and workshop during the event.
  3. Ensure your abstract is free from spelling, grammar errors, and scientific inaccuracies before submission.
  4. Do not include tables, graphics, or references in the abstract. Use abbreviations sparingly.
  5. The abstract submission will be closed on 15 April 2026
  6. If your abstract is accepted, at least one author MUST register for the competition. The registration fee must be paid by 1st May to 15th May 2026.
  7. All accepted abstracts will be published as submitted in a special issue of the Medicine & Health (E-ISSN 2289-5728), a WoS (ESCI) Q4 Journal. The I-Achieve 2026 Scientific Committee reserves the right to disqualify abstracts that do not meet submission requirements.
  1. By submitting the abstract, the author accepts full responsibility for its accuracy and acknowledges that no amendments can be made after submission. The abstract will be published exactly as submitted.
  2. All co-authors have been informed of the abstract’s content and have given their consent before submission. The submitter also agrees to act as the primary contact for all correspondence regarding the abstract and will ensure all co-authors are kept updated on its status.
  3. Submission implies the author’s consent for the abstract to be published in Medicine & Health.
  4. It is the submitter’s responsibility to secure approval from relevant regulatory authorities and obtain any necessary consents.
  5. The submitter must ensure that the work is original and does not violate any copyrights, proprietary rights, or personal rights of any third party.
  6. Any potential conflicts of interest, such as financial stakes in products or processes mentioned, stock ownership, or advisory board memberships, must be disclosed and resolved by the submitter.
  7. By completing the online Registration and Abstract Submission form, the submitter agrees to all terms and conditions regarding conference registration and abstract submission as outlined on the official conference website.

General

  • Abstracts must be submitted in Microsoft Word format (.doc or .docx).
  • All submissions should be written in British English.
  • The abstract should not exceed 300 words.
  • Use Arial as the font type.
  • When using abbreviations or acronyms, spell out the full term upon first mention, unless it represents a standard unit of measurement or is commonly recognized.

  • Arial, font size 12, bold, align left, upper case.

Authors & Co-authors

  • Arial, font size 10, align left
  • Bold the last name of the author.
  • Superscript with a number to indicate affiliations of each author.
  • Superscript with “*” to indicate the corresponding author.

Abstract Content

  • Arial, font size 10, justify alignment, 150 to 300 words.
  • The abstract content should be informative and stand alone in its content and meaning. It should include a brief Introduction, Objective, Methods, Novelty,  Results or Impact, and Commercialization Potential.
